Stella Mae Andre Bergeron, a resident of Central passed away at her home on April 24, 2017, at the age of 91. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her husband, Patrick Bergeron, were the owners of Pat's Grocery and Market in north Baton Rouge for 30 years. She was an amazing gardener and an avid LSU sports fan. She loved bowling, fishing and going to the casino. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Boulevard, on Thursday, April 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Greenwell Springs, on Friday, April 28, from 9:30 until religious services at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her daughter, Sheila Bergeron Lemoine and husband Greg Lemoine of Central; sons, Glyn "Big Daddy" Bergeron and wife Paula Mays Bergeron of Central, and Randy Bergeron of Jarreau; five grandchildren, Troy Bergeron and wife Holly Guerin Bergeron, Laci Lemoine Arbour and husband, Derek Arbour, Tayler Bergeron, Colby Bergeron and Randi-Lynn Bergeron; two great grandchildren, Lane Bergeron and Zoey Arbour; special family friends, Laurel Blanchard Wilson who she lovingly called her other daughter, Kevin Cabellero, Linda St. Romain and Kenny Joffrion; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Alcide Bergeron, two sons, Randall Patrick Bergeron and James Gregory Bergeron; parents, Theogene Andre, Sr. and Lucille Soulier Andre; and brother, Theogene Andre, Jr. Pallbearers will be Glyn Bergeron, Randy Bergeron, Troy Bergeron, Colby Bergeron, Greg Lemoine, Derek Arbour, Kenny Joffrion, and Kevin Caballero. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
