“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ.” Philippians 4: 6-7 Stephanie Creasy went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 10, 2021, at the age of 68. Triumphant over a long, faith-filled cancer journey, she was surrounded by family, and we know Heaven is filled with singing and dancing to welcome this sweet sister home. Stephanie was born in Tampa, FL, and moved around due to life as an Air Force child before settling in Baton Rouge, LA. She was filled with a bright light and loving spirit, which spilled onto all who knew her. She loved her family and life as a mom, and especially doted on her grandchildren who will carry on her legacy. She was also a devoted dog mom to her many fur babies through the years. She was gifted with a very creative eye, and graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Special hobbies of hers were her annual beach trips with her church ladies, spending early morning quiet time with her Bible, singing, catching up with family and friends over a good cup of coffee and sharing her faith and joy with all those she knew. Stephanie is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Kammer Allday (Kurt) and Kristen Jewell Kammer-Hattox (Brandon); stepsons, Larry “Ben” Bennett Creasy, Jr. (Summer), Adam Josiah Creasy (Jaimee) and Aaron Isaiah Creasy (Vicky); grandchildren, Logan, Wyatt, Sara, Lakyn, Nola, Parker, Anna, Ainsleigh, Easton, Sullivan, Sophie and Sylvia; sisters, Elizabeth Jane Beaty Smith (Larry), Catherine Jill Beaty (Luis); niece, Brooke Iglesias (Brandon); nephews, Thomas Domingue and James Smith; and a host of other loving family members and many amazing friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 17 years, Larry Bennett Creasy, Sr.; and parents, Col. Albert Rankin Beaty and Lila Jewell Beaty. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 9:00am until the time of funeral services at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephanie’s name to Ligonier Ministries, P.O. Box 863595, Orlando, FL 32886, and First Baptist Church Building and Operations Fund, P.O. Box 552, Clinton, LA 70722. Her daughters would like to extend a special thanks to all those involved in Stephanie’s medical teams throughout the past few years, the 6th floor Oncology staff at Baton Rouge General, and the many friends and family for continued support and prayer and especially her two sisters – Liz and Jill. Family and friends are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.greenoaksfunerals.com
