Stephen Wayne Willie (“Sparky”) died October 11, 2022 at the age of 67. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge and a resident of Walker, La. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School in 1972. In his younger years he had a passion for hunting and fishing, in his later years he enjoyed crossword puzzles and old movies. Like many family members he worked as an electrician. Family and friends will greatly miss him.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Norwood A. Willie, Sr. & Kathleen Stephens Willie, his children Michael Wayne Willie and Aimee Lynn Willie Kerek and granddaughter Shelby Hutchinson.
Survived by brothers - N. Thomas Willie, Sr. and wife Luanne, H. Howard Willie and wife Cindy, Norwood A. Willie, Jr. and wife Peggy, sister – Lynn Willie Bailey and husband Brett, grandsons – Brenden Willie and Larry Lee Jr., granddaughters – Kennedy Willie and Kristina Brown and husband Keith, great grandsons – Brylen, Brensen and Braxen and numerous nephews and nieces.
A graveside service to be held at a later date.
