Stephen John Zettlemoyer, 61, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011, due to an automobile accident on his way to work. Stephen was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam and Korea. They had a wonderful time before returning to Louisiana. Steve was born in New York and moved to Baton Rouge in the ninth grade. He graduated from Catholic High School in 1968. He was retired from Exxon, where he worked for 20 years and was employed with Valero for more than 13 years. He was an avid LSU fan who enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time in Grand Isle. He was a family man who loved his children and being a Paw Paw. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda Comeaux Zettlemoyer; two daughters, Michelle and Bridget Zettlemoyer; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Tiffani Zettlemoyer, and Keith and Summer Zettlemoyer; six grandchildren, Ali, Emiley, Bria, Sara, Zach and Skylar; mother, Gloria Zettlemoyer; sister, Rita; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Laura Zettlemoyer, Jeff and Diane Zettlemoyer and Lee and Kristin Zettlemoyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
