Susan D. Stafford, 63, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at her home surrounded by her family and friends on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. Mrs. Stafford was a property manager for more than 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Rod Stafford; and sister, Catherine Pruyn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juliet Duvic Gill; father, Warren E. Hessell; and maternal grandparents, George A. Duvic Sr. and Almedia Byrd Duvic. Pallbearers will be Donald J. Duvic, Frank W. Duvic, Marshall G. Pruyn, Scott Pruyn, Chris Pruyn and Kurt Pruyn. Graveside services will be at Oak Lane Memorial Park in Prairieville on Monday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m.
