Susanne “Susi” Karwath Claybrook was born on January 25, 1931, in Ratibor, Germany, to August and Helene Karwath. A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA, she passed away on June 4, 2026. Susi was preceded in death by her parents, August and Helene Karwath; brother, Udor Karwath and her husband, Linder D. Claybrook, who she will be laid to rest with at the LA National Cemetery. The burial will happen privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Susi’s name to St. Joseph Hospice of Baton Rouge.
