Teresa M. Sanders, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Lubliniec, Poland, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at her home. She was 85. Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she loved well. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Sid Sanders, 3 sons; Ken Sanders and wife Heather, Wyatt Sanders and wife Veronica, and Justin Sanders and wife Amy. 5 grandchildren; Jennifer, Zachary, Kali, Julia, and Chloe, 2 great-grandchildren; Logan and Beau. 1 sister; Edeltraud Jaszowska. Preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Anna Slawik Pluta, a sister, Stepanie Winkler, and a brother Pawel Pluta. Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2012, 9:00 a.m., until religious services at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Rabenhorst Funeral Home, East, 11000 Florida Blvd., with Rev. Gary Willis officiating. Interment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
