Teresa Bailey Woodside

Teresa Bailey Woodside, a beloved member of the Zachary community and the owner of Woodside Wholesale Florist, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 16, 1961, to Kariel and Peggy “Jean” Jeanette Johnson Bailey.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband, William T. Woodside Jr, her children Melissa Christine Woodside, Rebecca Woodside Bennett, and Daniel Joseph Bennett, as well as her grandchildren Bailey Jeanne Pierce, Marissa Walton, Daniel Joseph Bennett Jr, Christopher Thomas Bennett, Hunter Lane Tarver, and James Tarver. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Paisley Nichole Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Kairel and Peggy ”Jean” Jeanette Johnson Bailey, sister; Jeannie ( Peggy Jean ) Bailey, maternal grandparents; Joseph Holokan Jr. and Edna Pearrow Holokan , paternal grandparents; Thomas Bailey and Lois Nixon Bailey, and nephews; T.J. Leblanc, Jason Leblanc.

Pallbearers for Teresa's service will include Daniel Bennett, Daniel Bennett Jr, Christopher Bennett, James Tarver, Hunter Tarver, and Clay Pourciau, with Bailey Pierce and Marissa Walton serving as Honorary Pallbearers.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation for Teresa on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the South Chapel at Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Teresa will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
