Terry G. “Tully” Franklin, a native of Monroe and a resident of Ethel, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the age of 64. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a love for fishing, hunting and playing golf. He worked as a process supervisor at DelTech chemical plant and was soon to be retired. He was a loving father, brother, and grandfather who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Terry is survived by his daughter, Renae Drago and husband Jamie; sons, Ronnie Franklin and Rhonda Lambert, and Donnie Franklin and wife Pam; grandchildren, Connor Franklin, Brayten Drago, Crystal Drago, Haley Drago, Gavin Franklin, Menzie Franklin, and Hannah Franklin; sisters, Elizabeth Holmes and husband Charles and Myra Blake; brothers, John R. Franklin and wife Faye, Mike Franklin and wife Betty, Gerald Franklin and wife Jacque, Fred Franklin and wife Diane; former wife Brenda Thomas; and very special friends Dennis and Judy Harrell. He is preceded in death by wife, Faye Cavin Franklin; and brothers, Billy, Joe, Popeye, Ike and Ricky Franklin. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 8:30am until funeral service at 12pm. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Harold, Dustin Harrell, Connor Franklin, Derrick Bigner, Kenneth Franklin, and Craig Franklin. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Brandi Baker of St. Joseph’s Hospice for her exceptional care and support.
