Terry Duane Smith passed away peacefully, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, surrounded by family, at the age of 77. He was born in Hot Springs, AR, and was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Terry is survived by his daughters, Christi Daigle (Larry), Candice Carr, and Angela Smith; grandchildren, Brennen Carr, Brianna Daigle, and Gabriel Smith Daigle; great-granddaughter, Eden Browning; father, Dwight Smith; beloved companion, Robin Loupe; sister, Karen Arbour (Dale); he also leaves behind countless extended family members, lifelong friends, and colleagues who will forever cherish his memory. Terry is preceded in death by the love of his life of 50 years, Sandra Theriot Smith; and his loving mother who would fight a circle saw for him, Ivonia Geurin Smith. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:30am until the funeral service at 12:30pm.
