Tessie Fletcher Caston

Tessie Fletcher Caston, a native of Walker, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 87. Tessie was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church and worked in the nursery and preschool at church for many years. She also worked for Concern Home Health. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Caston; children, Cheryl Norwood, Eddie Lee Caston and wife Denise, Kay Thornton and husband Greg, and Wanda White and husband Mike. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 11:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The service will be officiated by Preston Thompson of Redeemer Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Mike White, Matthew Thornton, Richard Hayden, James Lloyd, Michael Norwood, and Chris Clark. Memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Baptist Church.
