
A native of Thibodauxand a graduate ofMercyHospitalin New Orleanswith an RN degree, she passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, Dec. 27, 2006, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. She was 72 and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, Dec. 30, from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Schatzle, celebrant. Entombment to follow in the church mausoleum. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Anthony "Tony" DeBenedetto of Baton Rouge; two children, Leslie Siebeling of Memphis, Tenn., and Jeffrey DeBenedetto of Baton Rouge; son-in-law, John Siebeling; grandchildren, Anna Katherine Siebeling and Mark Anthony Siebeling, Memphis; brothers, Richard Clement and Carrol Clement, both of Thibodaux; and sisters Eula Clement McDonald and Emelda Clement Gautreaux, both of Thibodaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lillian Clement, who were of Thibodaux. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Rockie DeBenedetto and Barry DeBenedetto, both of Baton Rouge, Blake McDonald and Chris Clement, both of Thibodaux, Terry Schubach of Atlanta, and close family friend, Bill Lee III of Baton Rouge. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a friend to everyone she knew. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ollie Steele Burden Manor, St. Joseph Hospice, St. Vincent de Paul or a charity of choice.
