
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many, he passed away unexpectedly due to complications from heart surgery on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 7:45 p.m. He was 48. Survived by his wife, Gretchen Roussel LeBlanc, Central; son, Theodore Francis LeBlanc III, Central; daughters and son-in-law, Jessica and Aaron Schatzle, and Samantha LeBlanc, all of Central; mother, Virgie Ourso LeBlanc, Central; special grandson, Trace Micah LeBlanc, Paw-Paw's "Little Buddy Roe"; grandmother, Marjorie Ourso Acosta; brother, James "Jimmy" LeBlanc Sr., Central; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Michael Rome; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He was a parishioner of St. Isidore Catholic Church, a member of Carpenters Local 1098, a 1979 graduate of Central High School and a licensed general building contractor for the state of Louisiana. Preceded in death by his beloved father, Theodore Francis LeBlanc Sr.; and grandparents, Pierre Clinton Ourso, who was of Baton Rouge, and Jules and Lena LeBlanc, who were of St. Gabriel. Pallbearers will be Brandon LeBlanc, James LeBlanc, Ryan Rome, Charlie Cancienne, Stanley Brown and Aaron Schatzle. Honorary pallbearers are Alvin White, Clinton Ourso, Michael Rome, Jimmy LeBlanc, Thomas Sanders, Eric Lee, Billy Prestidge, Clifton Austin, George Roussel Jr., Greg Roussel, Gerard Roussel, Justin Day, Charlie LeBlanc and Donald LeBlanc. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, March 22, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Baker, on Tuesday, March 23, from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Fred Youngs, celebrant. Entombment in St. Gabriel Catholic Church Mausoleum. Special thanks to the nurses at the CICU at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
