A loan officer, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Jackson, Miss., he died at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Spanish Town. He was 59 and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 6 p.m. until a memorial service conducted by the family at 8 p.m. Survived by two sons, Adrian and Keegan Strickland, both of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Nancy Speed and Sheryl Rimmer, both of Jackson; and brother, Jamie Strickland, of Jackson. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi. He was a member of Downtown Kiwanis of Baton Rouge.
