Theresa Elois Cutrer Pinion was called home to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Friday, August 19, 2022 at the age of 89. She was a native of Mize, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Elois was raised in Bogalusa, LA and worked at the Multi-Wall Bag Plant and Box Plant. She later moved to New Orleans where she met the love of her life, Leander Junius Pinion. After marrying, Elois and her husband moved to Baton Rouge and raised their family. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many things: the Homemakers Club, Tops Club, working with ceramics, needle work and Eastern Star. Elois was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a teacher in the Special Education Department, later becoming the Director. Elois is survived by her daughter, Tanya Pinion Hubble and husband, Thomas “Tommy” Hubble,II, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren, sister, Irene Cutrer Morris and brother Samuel Ellis Cutrer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Davis Cutrer and Brillie Millis Cutrer, husband, Leander Junius Pinion and son, Carlton Dale Pinion. Pallbearers will be Thomas Hubble, Jason Brandon-Romero, Jon Brandon, Chris Cutrer, Logan Cutrer and Talon Cutrer. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will continue Thursday, August 25, at 10 am until time of service at 11:30 am. Service will be conducted by Rev. Ron Lambe. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
