"Thomas R. Herbig, a native of Indianapolis, IN and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on September 1, 2016 at the age of 84. He was an insurance executive for 30 years, and a lifelong fisherman. He is survived by three children, Michael Herbig of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Kimberly Dismukes of Baton Rouge, LA, and Tomie Sue Coates of Hollywood, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Herbig. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Rabenhorst Funeral Home Downtown is in charge of the arrangements.
