Thomas R. Riker a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Ithaca, New York died Tuesday February 12, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 83. He served as executive chef of the Oak Manor, property manager for A.C. Lewis and retired as director of food services for the Louisiana Dept. of Public Safety and Corrections. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday February 15, 2013, 9:00 a.m. until Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with Rev. Miles Walsh celebrant. Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Services under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Lou Bowman Riker, daughters; Sherri Montagnino and husband David, Mary Lisa Coghlan and husband Chuck, grandchildren; Gabrielle Montagnino, Emma and Carson Coghlan, 2 brothers; Al Riker and wife Gretchen, and Herb Riker and wife Ethel, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Chuck Coghlan, David Montagnino, Lee Crow, Phillip Skillern, Ben Mims, and Charlie Coghlan.
