

Tommy was born on February 11, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was raised in the Metairie and Baton Rouge areas. He graduated from Glen Oaks High School in Baton Rouge in 1978. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University in 1983 and later earned his Master of Business Administration from National University in 1999.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. Tommy lived his life by following his heart, embracing life to the fullest extent possible, and encouraging others to do the same.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Leslie Ward Williams of Park Hill, Oklahoma; and his children from his previous marriage to Dr. Leila Sevilla Legacion Williams Wood: Priscilla Ann Legacion Williams Norosky and her husband Peter John Norosky of Austin, Texas, and their children, Henry Porter Norosky and Julian Wyatt Norosky; Samantha Gabrielle Legacion Williams of Austin, Texas; and Thomas Alenzi Legacion Williams, Jr., also of Austin, Texas.
He is also survived by his siblings: Richard and his wife Carolyn Williams of Green Forest, Arkansas; Johanna “Totsy” and her husband Ronnie Peery of Boerne, Texas; Willie Irvin “Butch” Williams, Jr., of Louisiana; CJ Williams of Vista, California; and Kay Washburn of San Antonio, Texas.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
The service will be followed by a gathering to celebrate his life with those he loved.
