Thurman L. Brown Sr. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at age 83. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Doris; daughters, Susette Morgan and Annette Black and husband Charles; sons, T. Louie Jr. and wife Paulette and Leslie and friend Kelly; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; devoted niece, Grace Allen; sister-in-law, Mary L. Brown; nephew, Tom Warren; and special longtime friend, Jack Claunch. Preceded by his beloved mother-in-law, Grace Terrell; and son-in-law, Larry Morgan. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Dec. 11, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 12, from noon until service at 2 p.m. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 62 years, a past master of Northeast Lodge, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in World War II and the Korean War.
