Tier B. Crumholt

Tier Crumholt, a native of Baton Rouge, passed away at 1:07 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the Carpenter house at 89 years old. She was a woman whose kindness, love, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and the impact she made will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She retired from the Division of the Department of Health and Human Resources the Pupil Appraisal Division of the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board. She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Francis “Tudy” McNabb; two nephews, Freddie McNabb III and Frank W. McNabb; great-niece, Ashley McNabb Gough and her husband, Nick Gough; great-niece, Paisley Grace Gough; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Crumholt; and parents, Irven and Faye Braai.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 10 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, followed immediately by religious services at noon, conducted by Rev. T.C. French Jr. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
