Timothy Lee “Papa” Moore, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Alexandria, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 15, 2013. Tim was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed woodworking, music and had a passion for British motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend whose contagious smile will be missed dearly by all that knew him. Tim is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Moore; daughter, Leah Moore Eisenstadt and husband Joseph, and their children Katie and Daniel of Boston, MA; daughter, Lanie Moore Flanders and husband Charles, and their son Gunner and another one on the way; sisters, Midge Jacobson and Jackie Long and husband Pat; sister in law, Rita Moore of Dallas, TX; cousin, Sonya Aaron of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. J.D. and Juno Moore; and brother, Paul Moore. A memorial service in Tim’s memory will be held at a later date.
