My sympathies to the family and friends of T'Lane Miller Hyde! She was a fellow classmate of mine at Istrouma High, Class of 1971! What fun she brought to so many of our high school days and how she never judged anyone, plus her wonderful sense of humor....these are just a few of the wonderful things about T'Lane that I remember! I am on the planning committee for our 40th reunion, and wanted to let you know that we will be honoring T'Lane on July 30th when we gather together for the reunion by including her name among those other classmates who have gone before us at oh, so young an age! Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers!

I was T'Lane's music teacher at IHS, 1970-72.  She was always one to spread laughter and joy.  We had our great times, and some private times as well.  (Check the choir tour 1971).  T'Lane was a joy to include in the singing, and she did so with excellance.  I wish I could have kept up with her over the years, and would love to have had the opportunity to watch her grow, mature, and have a family.  I am proud to have known her. Craig,my youngest son and I were talking about you and T'Lane yesterday.  Yes it is me, Karla Grim.  We have missed the two of you coming by and playing Yahtzee.I always think about the two of you every time I go down Greenwell Springs Road and see T'Lane's momma's house. I am so sorry to hear about this.  We will pray for you and BJ.

Mrs. Hilda and Debbie, I am saddened by the death of T'Lane. She sure was a rounder when we were young. It is a shame that we lose touch with childhood friends and must regain touch through a death. My prayers are with both of you and I hope God will bless both of you with much peace.

T'Lane, I will miss forever your larger-than-life heart of gold. With your passing also passes a deep connection to my Miller heritage, and an even deeper tie to so many childhood and young adult memories. As "grownups" we drifted erratically in and out each other's lives, but with God's grace you were always there when I needed you most - always. I will forever be grateful for your unyielding devotion to keeping me going,  and also for keeping me in touch with my Miller family. I already miss your sense of humor, your outrageous stories, and I can still hear your wonderful goodbye signoff- "I love you, baby."
