Trez Owen

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Trezevant Owen III, Anna Christine Owen; and daughter, Camille Cooper Watkins.

She is survived by her son, Mark Owen Tridico and daughter, Cooper Mason Watkins (Jude Martin); life-long partner, Wick Viger; granddaughter, Harper Christine; brother, G.T. Owen IV (June); sister, Georgeanna Johnson (Mark); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Trez was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was an avid animal lover and advocate for animal rights. She was known for her vibrant personality and very loving heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved granddaughter, Harper Christine. Trez was truly one of kind and will be dearly missed, especially by her friend of 63 years, Dinah Keyes. She was very involved in the charity work involving ovarian cancer, of which she fought bravely for 8 years. Geaux Teal!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge.
