Valentino E. Hampton, a native of Kaiser, WV and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at home on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at the age of 84.He retired from Exxon Refinery in Baton Rouge and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. Visitation will be Monday March 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church from 9am until mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Entombment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Barcellona and husband Brian; son, Stanley Hampton and wife Lisa; granddaughters, Victoria and Olivia Barcellona, and Lauren Hampton Peterson and husband William. He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Irwin Hampton; his mother, Katherine Kazmieczyk; wife, Doris Marie Jarreau Hampton; brother, Lloyd Michael Hampton; and sisters, Marjorie Hampton Kenneally and Cleo Hampton Timbrock.
