Vera J. Beebe

Vera J. Beebe, a native of Missouri and a resident of Schriever, LA, lay to rest on January 21, 2012 at the age of 83. She was a beloved mother, Granny, and Nannie who had a passion for gardening and reading and will be missed by many. She is survived by one son, Charles “Chuck” Beebe and wife Rachel; one son in law, Kevin Candies; grandchildren, Chris Candies and wife Amy, Ryan Ashley, Sean Candies and fiancé’ Heather Porche, Jessie Beebe and spouse Havilah, Rick Beebe, Danielle Beebe, and Nick Beebe; great grandchildren, Peyton, Emily, Olivia, and Gracie Candies, and Gavin and Griffin Beebe; step children, Paula Cook, Kim Coffey, Norman Robertson, Dean Robertson, and Richard Robertson and their children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Reba Johnson; husbands, Jessie Beebe and William Robertson; children, Rebecca Beebe Swayzee, Kathleen “Kathy” Beebe Candies, and Daniel Beebe; step children, William Robertson Jr. and Sherry Jacobsen; and grandchild Eric Candies. Visitation will be held on Monday at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 5-9pm, and resume on Tuesday from 12pm until service at 2pm in the chapel. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Hospice of South LA for the wonderful care given during the time of need.
