Hey mom, It's josh. I've been thinking a lot about you since Mother's Day is coming up....I feel...off. Losing you felt off. Still does. 

Last year, (maybe the year before, my memory gets really wonky) I had to get a new birth certificate and....I don't know. the place you raised before you moved to the south has changed. The people have changed. The energy of the office that gave me the birth certificate, the people behind the counter....even just the state of the country and a lot of the world's problems...just doesn't feel of you.  

I remember when my faith was broken while you were to be cremated. the closest thing I could think to do was pray to you instead.  I know that's not of you either but at the least what I believe I was doing...no, what I know I was doing...was reconnecting with you as an ancestor. I do that with dad too. It's a lot harder to feel you though...I don't know why that is and I hate it...I believe you're still with me...maybe there is a lot of spiritual blockage...maybe I'm in the wrong place surrounded by the wrong people...I don't want to believe this due to all the progress I know you know I've actually made but, maybe I'm not living my life right?

I really do hope this message get's to you safely. I uh....am praying for the safety of my sibling and I too...times are scary. Put in a good word for me to the big G O D? 

I love you. Thank you sooo much for gifting me this thing that I uh...I am struggling with but making as beautiful as possible.

Hey mama i love you so much. I hate that your gone from my life and everyones eyes but not form our minds. Its crazy that you had a daughter with dad. Me and dad are ok and we love you. rest in happiness.

My dear sister, Everytime you fell in love  you would love so hard and sincerely .  I would be afraid for you  because your spell would be too much for each man .  They were only few you  but you love them . I remember how much you love your boys .  You would work during the day , come home cook iron their clothes, and wake up at midnight to clean out the parking lot to shave the rent on your apartment .  Warrior . It was something about your smile that made me want to give you everything I had just to make you smile. You were always the jokester but you would know how to make me feel better by cooking me a good meal or sitting and laughing. Your thumb in your mouth smiling and talking always younger than you seem. Carrying the world on your shoulder. I miss you. I miss your smile. I miss your strengths and love. It's been very hard not to see you. But I'm sure we'll see each other in the next life. Just know that your son's are doing all they can to be the best for you. To represent you. I remember all of the parties and cooking at your house. I remember you calling me and telling me what you made that day. I remember how you work so hard do things the right way and even when you were unbalanced still had a way of making things better. I miss you my dear sister. You're forever sister love. The baby. Ronnie & I grew up together in Oakland. We were like sisters in elementary school, from sleep overs to playing on the block. We both had boys!
 To Ronnie's Young men:  GOD bless you and keep you.   I'm sorry we never met. Your Mom moved from our childhood street and we slowly lost contact as we grew up. Your mom was my first best friend!I have the sweetest childhood memories of  my friend  whom I will always cherish.
