

"Viola ""Vi"" Tullier Taylor, 88, died peacefully Friday, December 30, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Plaquemine. She was a retired secretary from Exxon and most recently lived at Williamsburg Retirement Community. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Archie and Rometra Jackson Tullier of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law, Janice Tullier, of Plaquemine; nieces and nephews Marty Noble and husband, Bill, Pam Chenier, Barry Tullier and wife Delba, Keetsie Gunnels and husband Ron, Debbie Rivet and husband Pat, Lisa Hunt and husband Ron, Lani Langlois and husband Ben; cousins Patricia Bagot, Joli Bagot Bryan and husband Thomas Bryan, Jason Bagot and numerous great- and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Taylor, her parents Joseph and Bertha McCullum Tullier; three sisters, Sue Tullier, Myrtle Doize and Mary Tullier; brothers Bill and Bobby Tullier; brother-in-law Morris Doize; sister-in-law Deannie Tullier and cousin Walter Bagot. Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Internment immediately following at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bill Noble, Pat Rivet, Tyler Rivet, Joseph Tullier, Andrew Gunnels and Randy Richard. Special thanks to her caregivers Dianne Dubisson and Betty Lavallais. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, or a charity of your choice.
