Peters, Virginia Eva McKnightVirginia Eva Peters passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the age of 92, she was a native of Clinton and a resident of Gonzales. She was devoted to her family and was a business owner of her own antiques store. She is survived by her daughters Sharon Loup, Susan and husband Glenn Ellis; sons, Louis H. Peters and wife Tonya, Terry Peters and wife Lynda, sisters; Shirley Harriman, Vera Johnson, Carolyn Covington, Janette Hansen and Faye Whitfield, brothers; Ray McKnight, Richard McKnight, Irwin McKnight and Victor McKnight, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Peters Sr., grandson, Trey Louis Peters, brothers; Robert McKnight and Donald McKnight. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Rabenhorst funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. starting at 9:00am until service in funeral home chapel at 10:00am with entombment to follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory. Pallbearers will be; Louis Peters Jr., Terry Peters, Richard Loup, Jason Loup, Ben Pearson and Auburn Wessman. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Reec, St. Josephs Hospice and especially Miss Emma for the care given to their mother.
