Virginia L. Williams passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 24, 2025, at the age of 90. A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she spent the final nine years of her life at Landmark South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Virginia was born on September 28, 1935, in Swain County, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Terri; her parents; her sister; and her former husband. She is survived by her son, Michael; three grandchildren, Kevin, Anthony, and Trent; and three great-grandchildren.
A devoted and compassionate nurse, Virginia dedicated her professional life to caring for others. She served as a registered nurse at medical facilities in several states throughout her career, leaving a lasting impression on both colleagues and patients. On May 29, 2016, she was baptized at Jefferson Baptist Church, a meaningful milestone in her spiritual life.
Virginia is in the care of Greenoaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, which handled the final arrangements. She has been laid to rest at Crestview Mausoleum.
