Vivian L. Sims, also known as “MawMaw”, went to meet her Heavenly Father on November 22, 2024 at the age of 87. A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10 am until funeral services at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Sims; and her son David Deal. She is survived by daughter, Renee Deal Letourneau; granddaughters, Vivian Louise Head (William), Amber Murphy (Kevin) and Ellen Deal (Kerstin); two great-grandchildren, Addison and Daxton; and her brothers and sisters, Vernon Lightfoot (Sandra), Margaret Parkinson, Janice Sanders, Wanda Haire and Leon Lightfoot (Ann). She will be remembered for having a kind word for everyone, a generous heart, and her amazing smile. Vivian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
