Cam, Drew, and Wren, 

Please accept my deepest condolenes at your loss.  It was my habit occassionally to check on Wallace via the internet, so I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing  in September.  It is also heartbreaking to know that this brilliant man, who knew the phone number of each client by heart, suffered with Alzheimer's Disease - a truly cruel illness.  

Wallace was a remarkable individual who played a significant role in my life. I had the privilege of working for him as a 21-year-old.  I was  newly wed and newly transferred to a new city, 500 miles from home.  Wallace was not just a boss to me; he was a mentor, a guide, a fellow Texan, and someone I looked up to with immense respect.  I will always cherish the memories of the time I spent working with him.  His kindness and genuine concern for my well-being left a lasting impact on me. 

Please know that my thoughts are with you.  I know Wallace will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Phillip Amsler Eversberg. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cam McAndrew Eversberg, his children Andrew Wallace Eversberg (Suzanne Brown) and Martha Wren Eagleton (Dr. Bernard) and grandchildren, Anna Camille, Benjamin, and Elliott Eagleton and Andrew Sheppard Eversberg.
