Wayne A."Tiger"Myers

Wayne A. "Tiger" Myers, 75, a native of Melville and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012. Mr. Myers was a retired operating engineer. Visiting at Ra- benhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sun- day, Feb. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 20, from noon until funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Frank Bass. Burial at Greenoaks Me- morial Park. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Myers; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Stephanie Gagliano, Katherine and Travis Gauthier, and Alison and Tony Lamana; four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Linda Myers, Kevin and Susan Myers, Jeremy and Lisa Myers, and Eric and Lindsay Myers; and 16 grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Sadie Schilling and Della Ann Fontenot; and three brothers, Larry, Kenneth and Oliver Myers. The family wishes to express their sin- cere appreciation for the caregiven to Mr. Myers by Tangela, Margaret and Jackie of Amedisys Hospice and the staff at The Carpenter House.
