Wendell B. Deal

Wendell B. Deal passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the age of 87. He was a native of Lake Providence, LA and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a sports enthusiast, loved to golf and was a supporter of LSU. Wendell is survived by his three children, Carol D. Robin and husband, Larry, Kathy Deal Ward and fiance, Steve Cross, and Harry B. Deal and wife, Jan; grandchildren, Todd D. Robin and wife, Jami, Katie Ward Geiger and husband, Doug, Justin B. Deal and wife, Heidi, Cole J. Robin and wife, Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Laci, Brooke, Ashley, Jaden and Wesley; and numerous other relatives.

Wendell is preceded in death by his wife, Jean R. Deal; grandson, Lee Hamilton Deal; parents, Wiley and Mattie Deal; and brothers and sister. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, April, 30, 2018, from 11:00AM until the time of funeral service at 2:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving staffs of Hospice In His Care and Sunrise Assisted Living on Siegen Lane.
