Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War.He was a lifetime member of The Elks and served as Past Exalted Ruler of Lodge 490.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Irma Perron Swift; 3 daughters, Suzette Mayville (Tommy), Rhonda Dantin (Kirk), and Cherie Burns (Matt); 8 grandchildren, T.J. Mayville, Tiffani Asbill (Jason), Taylor, Reese, and Claire Dantin, Natalie Clark (James), and Ryan and Chadd Burns; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Alice Swift; and siblings Rick and Betty.
Visiting hours to be observed on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 10:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm located at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment to follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
