
A resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010, at Ollie Steele Burden. He was 80. Bill was a graduate of Catholic High School, served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a salesman after working for several companies in the Southeast region. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, March 30, from 8:30 a.m. with religious services at 9:30 a.m., conducted by Monsignor Gerald LeFebvre. Military burial will be held at Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Marie Mason Conway; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Joyce Conway; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Wyatt Golden; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Debbie Conway, of Jeffersonville, Ind.; stepdaughter, Dr. Lynn Mason and husband Ronnie Marks; two stepsons, Dr. Louis Mason and wife Kathleen, and Dr. Glenn Mason; and 13 grandchildren, Rory and Kyle Golden, Dara, Devin and Dalton Conway, David and Katelyn Fusilier, Margeaux Marks, Helen, Richard and Rachael Mason and Michael and Matthew Mason. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marguerite Conway; and sister, Merna McKeon. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the administrators and staff of Ollie Steel Burden, St. Joseph Hospice and Dr. Leo Blaize. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area.
