William Gregory Sellers died of natural causes on New Year's Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at Ochsner Medical Center. He was 63, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge and was born and raised in southern Alabama. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had a career as both an artist and restaurant designer. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis F. Sellers; three children, Bill Sellers and wife Sandra and their children, Savannah and Sophie, Ryan Sellers and wife Mary and Allison Sellers Teo and husband David; and a sister, Nancy Sellers Windham and husband Sam and their sons, Matt and Jacob. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Cornelia Sellers.
