Dear! I just red on Facebook about your grandfather, I'm so sorry. I saw his picture and I started to cry, really. His smiling face made me remember the beautyfull weekand we spent together at your lake house. I thought even I can't see Adele's face and stay with her, our friendship is deep and strong because of Christ and so can be the same for you and your grandfather. He is seeing God's face, he is in the Truth. I embrace you and pray for your family and for our friendship!

Dear Shirley and Family~ I was so very saddened to see the news about Hart's passing in this morning's paper. I have known Hart most of my life and so admired and respected him.  I last had the opportunity of meeting him recently in the waiting room at Capitol Buick, where we had a rare opportunity to share so many old stories about our earlier days in Baton Rouge.  Hart will have been warmly greeted by Harold Lacy and Dan LeBlanc,and others, who, I am sure, escorted him to the presence of Our Lord.  I am so very blessed to have known Hart throught the long years of our lives.  Rest in Peace with wonderful old friends, Hart.

Dear Uncle Hart,  

I can't tell you how sad I am today.  You, Aunt Shirley and your family were such a huge part of my childhood and beyond. 

Uncle Hart, you were always the fun one! I can remember loading up in the Buick station wagon to go for a "Joy Ride".  you were the king of the joy ride. When I jumped in the back seat, it became an adventure. 

We spent countless weekends down the river: riding motor cycles, building bon fires, and tailgate riding up and down the levee. You always took time for us kids. I had so much fun.

You will be in good company now. I'm sure Sport and Baby Love are happily at your feet and in your lap.  You have your mom and Pops. You also have most of my family. I know my mom missed you.  I'm sure she is up to fun and adventure.  Please remind my dad to stop working. Also remind Little John to be happy.

Thank you for your love. I will miss you so much. 

Aunt Shirley, Darlene, Noel, Winder and family. Thank you too for all the fond memories I have spending with you.  I am sorry for the loss.  Again the memories will never go away.  You all are in my heart, today and always.

Thank you for the most loving gift one man can give another - that of your blessed daughter, Noel.  Thank you for your faith in me when you granted my request for her hand in marriage.
