Yvonne was a resident of Central, LA and long-time member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Efferson; grandchildren, Lisa Gonzalez and Jason Efferson (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Jillian and Allie Efferson, Kaleb and Trinity Gonzalez; and brother, Hilton Pray (Thelma).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Presley “Wallace” Clayton; daughters, Brenda and Janice Clayton; brother, Virgil Golda “VG” Pray (Jeanette); son-in-law, Howard Efferson; and great-granddaughter, Amelia Gonzalez.
A visitation for Yvonne will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, 19421 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
