Alejandro dejó a su esposa, Miriam Cruz Montoyo sus hijos Samuel Sánchez Cruz, Elizabeth Sánchez Cruz, Carmen Sánchez Cruz y a Alejandro Sánchez Cruz ( Jr ). Recordamos a su hija María Herminia Sánchez Cruz ya fallecida.

Alejandro tendrá servicio funeral en la Funeraria Álvarez en Bayamón, Puerto Rico el dia 19 de febrero de 2024 y Luego será cremado en el Crematorio Porta Coeli en Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
