I served with Nelson on the USS Hermitage (LSD-34).  Nelson and I were in charge of the crew's recreational photo lab.  Nelson knew a lot about the chemistry of photography and I learned from him.  He was a good shipmate, a good sailor and a respected member of the crew.

My condolences to the family.  May you find comfort and have good memories.

Nelson  and I worked together  in the Plain Cloths Unit of the Customs Patrol Division at JFK Airport back in 1978 ?
Nelson was a good guy, always willing to work extra hours & coming up with ideas on how to get the job done. He was a friend and loved his Family..          RIP    Tim Varian

Nelson was a friend and co-worker with me in U.S. Customs both as a Patrol Officer and as a Special Agent.  He was a good friend and an even better partner. He was smart and reliable and I trusted him with my life.  I wish him safe journey as he passes into eternity.

Uncle Nelson was the light of the Rolon family. And will continue to shine from up above. Uncle Nelaon always said I looked like Abuela Geno!   It always warmest my heart.
