DIAZ, GRACIELA, age 97 passed away on November 20, 2014. Devoted wife of the late Ciro “Carlos” Arroyo. Beloved mother of Aida Ciena, Carlos Manuel Arroyo I, Carmen Perez and the late Jose Arroyo. Cherished grandmother of Anthony Ciena, Lizette Bertoncin, Shirley Cohen, Carlos Arroyo II, Christopher Arroyo I, Christine Rivera, Jodie Arroyo and the late Peter Ciena. Cherished Great-grandmother to Grace Phelps, Peter David Ciena, Tabitha Cohen, Carlos Arroyo III, Christopher Arroyo II, Katherine Eve Arroyo, Jeremy Cohen, Richard Bertoncin, Tiffany Ciena, Vincent Rivera, Hailey Rivera and Myles Arroyo. Great-great-grandmother to Michael Phelps, Destiny Phelps, Denasia Phelps, Melanie Ciena and Isabella Ciena. Beloved in law to Niklas Sardana, Richard Bertoncin, Richard Cohen, Lisa Arroyo, Marilyn Arroyo, Luis Rivera, John Phelps and Karen Siquiera. She is survived by her sister Blanca Diaz, her brother Cristobal Diaz and numerous nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Harden Funeral Home 208-17 Northern Boulevard, Bayside, NY 11361. Visiting hours 2-5 and 7-9 pm on Sunday and Monday. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:45am at Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament RC Church 34-24 203rd Street, Bayside, New York. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Great Neck, New York.
