Agustin “Gus” Rangel, 85, of Baytown, passed away on Jan. 20, 2013. He was born on June 28, 1927. He was employed by Goose Creek CISD, for 20 years in their maintenance and grounds division. He was married to his beloved wife, Ricarda N. Rangel, for 33 years, and a long-time member of El Buen Pastor Assemblies of God.
He was preceded in death by, two daughters, Graciela Rangel, Sr. and Graciela Rangel, Jr. and one son, Juan Rangel.
He is survived by one sister, Carmen Serano; 12 children, Amelia M. Casas, Alicia Vasquez, David Rangel, Racquel Garcia, Angelina Espinoza, Berta Perez, Gloria Garcia, Teresa Pena, Yolanda Rangel, Jorge Rangel, Norma Martinez and Richard Rangel; 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
