

Al Marcellius King, 34, of Baytown, formerly New Orleans, LA was born April 8, 1977 in New Orleans, LA and passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 in a Houston hospital. He was a God fearing man. He was a member of the Upward Bound program and was a former President of the NAACP youth. He enjoyed singing in several church choirs.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Vellis E. Tillman, Jr. and nephew, Charlie C. Zeno. He is survived by his parents, Al and Cynthia King of Brazoria and Alva King of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Angela T. and James Fletcher of Jonesboro, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Andre M. and Demetria King of Waco, Avery S. King of Baytown, and Ashton M. King of Baytown; nieces and nephews, James, Jr., Jonathan, and Joshua Fletcher and Michalee, Azynea, Andranique, and Aaiden King; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday, February 15, 2012 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Beau Rosser officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his brothers, brother-in-law, nephews, cousins, and friends.
