

He was born September 22, 1948 in Jasper, Texas to his late Parents: C. W. Manuel and Ruby Sims Manuel and had lived in the Barbers Hill area since 1974.
Al was a member of Eagle Heights Fellowship in Mont Belvieu, active in the children’s ministry, was formerly the Music Minister at First Baptist Church in Mont Belvieu and worked at Shell in Deer Park for the last 34 years.
His devotion to his family was seen through his being a loving husband, inspirational daddy and an exceptional papaw.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Baytown.
Come join the Manuel family for a celebration of the life of Al Manuel, a contagious Christian, at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Eagle Heights Fellowship in Mont Belvieu. There will be a private family interment at a later time.
He is survived by: Wife of 37 years: Diane Manuel; Children: Trisha and Ronnie Richardson, Katie and Matt Marlow and D. J. and Lacie Manuel; Grandchildren: Gavin, Madison, Coleson, Emma, Bailey and Carol all of Mont Belvieu; Brother: Ronnie Manuel of Louisiana; Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of more Relatives and Friends.
Al was preceded in death by his Parents: C. W. Manuel and Ruby Sims Manuel.
Pallbearers will be: Scott Manuel, Brent Foster, Brady Boodell, Blake Foster, Kelly Broadway and Michael Kreuzer.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Al Manuel Memorial Fund, care of Eagle Heights Fellowship in Mont Belvieu.
