Alfredo Rincon, 84, went to be with our Lord on June 29, 2025. Born May 25, 1941, Alfredo was a lifelong resident of Baytown, Texas, dedicated husband, caring father, doting grandfather and treasured friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents Amadeo (Jimmy) and Rosa Rincon, siblings, Amadeo (Jimmy) Rincon Jr. and Mary Ellen Munos, mother-in-law, Flora Razo and first born son, Alfredo Rincon Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gloria Jean Rincon, children, Alfred and Alissa, granddaughters, Allegra and Gabriela and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Alfredo was a graduate of both Lee College in 1961 and the University of Texas at Austin in 1963. He enjoyed an illustrious 22 year career as a CPA at Gulf Oil Corporation that took him to various countries including England, New Zealand, Portugal and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He was an avid golfer, swimmer and chess player. He enjoyed reading mysteries by Agatha Christie, seeing movies such as Once Upon a Time in America and watching his favorite UT Longhorns and TV shows, especially, Endeavour and Hercule Poirot on PBS Masterpiece. He also loved listening to America, the Bee Gees and Los Tres Ases.
Alfredo had a heart of gold, was outgoing and a good man. In his chosen profession, he had a strong work ethic, was known to be meticulous and a true leader. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him but fond and good memories will remain.
Visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home, located at 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521 on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Rosary Service, led by the Deacon, George Rincon, will begin at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 1907 Carolina Ave, Baytown, Texas 77520 on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Committal will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, located at 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas, 77521.
