

Alley ""Al"" LeBlanc Jr., age 67, peacefully passed away at the VA Hospice Unit in Temple TX, on Friday, July 31, 2015, after a battle with liver cancer. Alley was preceded in death by his parents Alley LeBlanc Sr., and Elizabeth Barton. Also, his brother Alan LeBlanc.
Alley is survived by his daughter Jennifer and her husband Jeff Yates of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; sisters Patricia Patterson of Cameron TX, and Rhonda and her husband Mike Ricks of Cameron TX; brothers, George LeBlanc of Buffalo TX, Tony LeBlanc of Dayton TX, John LeBlanc and his wife Susie of LongView TX, and Jimmy Barton and his wife Debbie Barton of Porter TX.; Step-mother, Wanda LeBlanc of Baytown TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He grew up in Dayton Texas. Alley joined the service and served his Country honorably. Alley is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals including National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, and Rifle Marksman Badge. Alley was a proud Marine. The patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m with funeral services on Friday August 7, 2015 at 9:30a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
Acting as pallbearers will be Mike Ricks, Henry Ricks, Tom Carter, Kutter Kollaja, Cody Carter, and Bryce McMakin. Honorary pallbearers are Kaden Kollaja, Caleb Jones Ricky Murry, Ricky Browning, and Kyle Carter.
