

She was born in Baytown on December 28, 1982. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, Aunt, and friend to many. She was vibrant, comical, and always the life of the party. She was a kid at heart and was never afraid to say what she was thinking. Mela was a Medical Assistant for the past 9 years at a local Dr. Office in Baytown. She loved spending her time with her daughter and mom and enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews anytime she got the chance.
Amelia was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Costello Sr., grandparents Tony and Amelia Costello, and Rosalio and Marcelina Urbina. She is survived by her husband, Michael Belmarez; daughter, Audrey Ochoa; mother, Crucita Costello; brothers Antonio Costello Jr., Jesse Costello and wife Elizabeth; nieces and nephews Daizy, Johnathon, Karina, Toni, Samantha, Andrew and Madilyn Costello and Elijah and Ashley Belmarez.
The Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014, with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.
Pallbearers: Tony Costello, Jesse Costello, Johnathon Costello, Angel Urbina, Juan Navarro, and Gilbert Garcia.
