Angelo Alan Giusti of Baytown, Texas was born in the Bronx, New York on January 28, 1945 and passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the age of 77. After meeting and marrying his loving wife Sherrill in New York, they settled in Baytown, Texas where he worked construction for Brown and Root for over 30 years and retired in 2006. He worked jobs in Haiti, Russia and Kosovo and collected coins and steins from his travels. He really enjoyed his time overseas. He always wanted the best for his two children, Jennifer and Jason, and even worked for a time as a PE coach and bus driver at their school. He loved being a grandpa or “Poppy” to Peyton and Parker. He had a passion for cooking and was most known for his lasagna and other Italian dishes. He also had a love for sports and especially liked to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nello and Giovanna Giusti and his wife Sherrill Giusti. He is survived by his brothers Joseph and Richard Giusti and daughter Jennifer Dagley and husband Jeremy, son Jason Giusti and wife Claudia, as well as beloved grandchildren Peyton and Parker Dagley.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation at Earthman Funeral home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown Texas 77521 on Friday, June 10th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Earthman Funeral home officiated by Jeremy Dagley.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason Giusti, Brad Benoit, Riley Benoit, Steve Roane, Blake Roane, Brian Benoit and Parker Dagley. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Giusti, Richie Giusti and Gary Gerza.
The family extends special thanks to Harbor Hospice of Baytown for their attentive and loving care of Angelo this past year.
