

Angelyn Margaret Ash, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born on December 2, 1945, Angie spent her life in Baytown, Texas, where she built a legacy of faith, family, and kindness. A lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, she found strength in her faith and lived her life with grace, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her.
For more than 20 years, Angie faithfully served her community through her work at Community Resource Credit Union (formerly Exxon Baytown Credit Union), where she formed lasting friendships and touched countless lives with her warm smile and caring spirit.
Above all, Angie was devoted to her family. She shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Hoya Ash, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was known for her gentle heart, selfless nature, and the comfort she brought to everyone around her. She was always a shoulder to lean on, offering encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional love.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Marie and Herbert Henry Streich, and her precious granddaughter, Hayden Margaret Brown.
She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her memory: her loving husband, Hoya; her son, Darron Ash and wife, Jill; her daughter, Ginger Brown and fiancé Romeo Saenz; her grandchildren, Lauren Stangel and husband Nick, Parker Ash and wife Maggie, Laken Weeks and husband Jordan, Preston Ash, and Gunnar Brown; and her great-grandchildren, Landry, Stone, Briggs, Sage, Wells, Cooper, Belle, and Merritt.
She is also survived by her sister, Sandra McGee and husband, James; her nephew, Steve McGee and wife Dee Dee; her niece, Stacey McGee; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Morgan, and Blake McGee; Colton, Garrick, and Karoline Frankeny.
Angie’s legacy of faith, compassion, and unconditional love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
While our hearts grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing that our Granna is rejoicing in Heaven in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by everlasting peace and perfect love.
