

Ann was born , April 15, 1905 in Vinarice u Kladna, Czechoslovakia. She came to the United States in December, 1909 with her parents, Frank and Marie Pirnik and brother Ludvik to Arroyo Grande, California. In 1916 they moved to Oklahoma. She was an Instrument Technician at Tinker Air Force Base, where she worked on the Memphis Belle and saw the Enola Gay. She survived the Oklahoma City Tornado of 1941.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles B. “Doc” Dodson, daughter, Lois Virginia Haywood; brother, Louis Pirnik; sisters, Mary Smith, Helen Grayson, and Elsie Matthews.
Ann and Doc were members of Lodge Oklahomsky Rolnik #89. Sister Ann received her 50 year pin in W.F.L.A. in 1978. She held every office in the lodge except that of president and was Correspondent Secretary for 33 years. Ann was a past president of American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 13 of Oklahoma City and a 76 year member. She was Past Noble Grand of Oriole Rebekah Lodge #204 of Oklahoma City. In 1978, she and Doc moved to Baytown to be near her sisters.
Ann was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church, who loved her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her nephew Phillip Grayson and wife June, niece, Nancy Foerster and husband Bruce, all of Baytown, niece MaeDelle Salter of Nederland, TX, nephews, Jimmy Matthews, Louis, Don, David, and Michael Pirnik, niece, Carolyn Schulte, all of California, and niece, Betty Baugh of Sherman, TX.

Visitation will be Friday , February 25, 2005, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Rev Eddie Norris.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Grayson, Bruce Foerster, Beau Brazil, Scott Simmons, and Derek Grayson.
